Raised on the wild plains of Nunavut, Shaunn Watt began breeding musk ox as a young man. In summer, the oxen' s coats would grow too long for the intense northern sun. Out of sheer necessity, young Shaunn learned the art of cropping their shag. It was not long before he stole a dog sled in the dead of night he headed for the big city, finding Commercial Drive. Malnourished, dehydrated and stinking of wet fur & salted caribou meat, he was taken in by the good people at Kokopelli, and trained in their ways. He has never looked back.

Canadian Hairstylist of the Year Awards

Shaunn was a finalist for the Men's Hairstylist of the Year for the 2011. You can see his model cuts on the Contessa's website. He has also been featured in the May/June issue of Salon Magazine discussing his philosophy of "Competing Discourses" in mens hair.
