Colour service deposits

A mandatory deposit is taken for all chemical services (colour, perms, hair botox). The deposit is used towards your service and your appointment will be confirmed once the deposit is received.

Due to a large amount of time needed for these services, if your appointment is not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance or result in a no-show, the deposit fee will be forfeited to the salon. We will then require a 50% deposit of the estimated service cost for future chemical bookings.

Hair extensions

All extension clients require a consultation with our specialists prior to booking a service.

Extension appointments require a deposit of the cost of extensions in order to secure your appointment with the specialists.

If you would like to use extensions you have acquired from elsewhere, we cannot guarantee quality or longevity. We generally recommend having our specialist order the extensions best suited for your hair. We work with Babe and Bellami brands.

Appointments with Lala, Curly Hair Specialist

All appointments with Lala require a deposit to secure your appointment. The deposit is $50 for haircuts and $100 for colour appointments. This deposit is used towards your service and your appointment will be confirmed once the deposit is received.

We require a minimum of 24 hours to cancel or reschedule your haircut appointment  and 48 hours for colour appointments with Lala, and your deposit will roll over. Your deposit will be forfeited in the case of late cancellations or no-shows. 

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to make your appointment, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice for haircut appointments and 48 hours for colour appointments due to a larger amount of time booked. Late cancellations or no-shows are subject to a cancellation fee, 50% of the missed service, in order to rebook your appointment. 

Late cancellations and no-shows leave gaps in the stylists’ schedules that cannot be filled without timely notice. Your notification courtesy enables us to schedule another client and help maintain a high level of service for you and others. Thank you for understanding.

Late arrivals

We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals as scheduling permits. However, if you are more than 15 minutes late, please be advised that we may not be able to provide the services you are booked for, will require you to reschedule, and may be subject to a rebooking fee upon discretion.

Masks

Masks are still optional. We understand and empathize that some clients are immunocompromised; you are welcome to wear a mask and also welcome to ask your stylist to wear one for your comfort. If you are quite ill, we ask for the courtesy to reschedule your appointment with us. Please try to give us as much notice as possible. Our stylists will wear masks if they don’t feel well, and will recover at home if they are symptomatic/contagious. 

 

Our satisfaction policy

We at Kokopelli Salon take our client’s feedback seriously. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your service, your original stylist will gladly adjust your cut or colour within 14 days of your original appointment upon a new consultation. An adjustment appointment may be subject to a product charge pending the circumstance. We offer no refunds on services.

Refund or exchange policy on retail products

Clients are welcome to exchange new and unused sealed products within 14 days of purchase. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on used products. Hair brushes, scrunchies, bonnets, pillow cases, and Bottle None products are final sale for sanitary reasons.
